About Tasbih Free

Tasbih Free is a small, focused web app for one job: counting dhikr, cleanly and without friction.

Why this exists

Tasbih Free was built out of a simple frustration: most digital tasbih counters online are cluttered with pop-ups, forced sign-ups, or intrusive ads that get in the way of a moment meant for quiet reflection. This site was created as an alternative — a counter that loads instantly, works on any phone or laptop, and asks nothing of you beyond a tap.

There is no religious authority or institution behind this project. It is an independent, small-scale web tool built and maintained by one developer who wanted a better version of something that should have been simple all along.

What the tool does

Tasbih Free lets you tap to count dhikr — SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, Astaghfirullah, La ilaha illallah, or a custom sequence of your own — toward a target of 33, 99, 100, or any number you choose. It tracks completed cycles, gives a light celebratory animation when you finish one, and includes a dark mode for low-light use such as after Maghrib or before Fajr.

What makes it trustworthy

Feedback and corrections

If something on the site is inaccurate, broken, or could simply be better, I want to hear about it. You can reach out through the Contact page.

Tasbih Free is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any mosque, organization, or religious authority.
